Kashec was selected from several bids to provide full pre and post tender engineering services for India s first roll on roll off ferry project in the gulf ofCambay between Dahej (Bharuch) and Gogha (Bhavnagar). The total cost was 4000 million (INR) and consisted of a 96m long, 750 ton linkspan and 30m x 50m, 800 ton pontoon at both the sites.

• Kashec provided with bid winning tender design and successfully followed up with post tender design approved by independent proof consultants in India as well as in the UK.
• In addition, a record beating linkspan and pontoon design, full design provided for berthing dolphins, approach jetties and bunds, onshore terminal buildings, marshalling areas, roads and workshops along with full MEP design.
• Successfully enabled the contractor to put a technical case for additional claims due to variation in design parameters. This allowed the contractor to win additional INR 700 million, unprecedented for EPC projects.
