Lea
and
carries the A414.
This
is
a
major
dual
carriageway
east-west
cross
country
route north of the M25.
Project Design
Kashec provided full bridge design services for this scheme.
We
designed
the
14
span
viaduct
comprising
of
26
metre
long spans.
All
piers,
abutments
and
their
foundations
were
of
cast
in-
situ reinforced concrete construction.
The
bridge
deck
was
a
precast
prestressed
M
beam
construction.
A
6
metre
high
approach
embankment
reinforced
with
a
geo membrane was also provided.
