The large two-storey spread out building with central quadrangle has a total built area of 3,100 m 2 . Project Design Kashec provided full structural design services for this scheme. Vibro stone columns were used to improve the weak soil as this solution offered a highly economical and sustainable alternative to piling and deep foundation options. The superstructure was a mix of steel frames, glulam beams and load bearing walls. The roof structure was designed using timber and glulam beams.
